How does Savio make its money?

Buyers pay a contractual markup to Savio on the invoices vendors submit against the projects they’ve been sourced for and engaged on through Savio. Vendors’ invoices are approved by buyers or project owners through Savio and are paid by Savio when buyers settle their invoices with Savio. Savio does not charge vendors or take a cut of their invoices.

Can anyone join Savio’s “Business to Business” marketplace?

A business to business marketplace requires everyone in it to be a registered business operating as legal business entity. This means everyone trading on Savio is a limited company or partnership, or operating under an Umbrella Limited Company. They must also have business insurance (£1m or equivalent cover in € / $) to engage in standard contracts across the platform.

  • Every vendor on Savio is verified and approved upon confirming their company status, liability cover, and banking details.

  • Every buyer on Savio signs up to Savio’s standard terms of business and conditions, providing vendors reassurance that opportunities are real and business risks are avoided.

How secure is savio?

Savio is very secure. Data is stored using AWS and all personal data is handled in accordance with EU-grade privacy law.

Are there other fees?

Using the Savio Marketplace to find talent is free. If you want to bring your own talent profiles or pools and engage with them through Savio, then Savio charges a per - profile fee for the verification. This is to ensure Savio can honour its contract to buyer to offer verified talent .

Additionally, Savio offers Premium Managed Services which have a fee agreed between parties based on projects’ individual scope.

Why is there a 12-month contract for buyers?

The free license reflects your usage of our software as a business tool. The 12-month contract also includes your commercial package for that period.

Do we get account support?

Buyers and vendors do get support from the Savio team at every step of the journey. Your customer success manager is always just a click or a call away.

How do buyers pay for work done?

Buyers pay for work done through the platform via bank transfers. We can also take credit card payments if necessary.

IS Savio a self-service platform?

Savio is new! We want to evolve and grow Savio. The best way to do that is with active customers. The first customers will be working with the first edition of Savio which comes as a self service experience for vendors and a managed service (“do it with you”) for buyers.

What if my project goes wrong?

We encourage buyers and vendors to resolve issues first. If that’s not possible; we’ll intervene to ensure the situation is resolved.

Can we cancel our account?

You can cancel your account at any time. You will be asked to settle any outstanding invoices. Your data and profiles will be turned off and your commercial data deleted.

How do talent vendors get paid?

Savio takes care of paying vendors. We wire funds to their business bank accounts at the end of the month in which sellers settle their invoices.

Where can I find your Terms and Conditions?

It’s important people and businesses considering Savio are aware and comfortable with the way Savio works before deciding to invest effort in the joining process. We are committed to transparency and fairness and our entire legal framework is made available to read and review on Savio’s Legal Hub.

Is Savio Carbon-Neutral?

Unfortunately at this stage we don’t know. As soon as possible we will do better than net-zero. Is that Carbon Negative? Or Climate Positive? You know where we’re trying to go!
